Futures Group reported on results of nine project activities at the American Public Health Association 137th Annual Meeting and Exposition in Philadelphia, PA, on November 7–11, 2009.
Futures Group presented eight oral sessions and one poster presentation. The Health Policy Initiative presented family planning and reproductive health success stories from Bangladesh, Egypt, El Salvador, Guatemala, India, Indonesia, Kenya, Jordan, and Mali. The COMPRI-A Project presented a successful safe water intervention that built local manufacturing capacity and quality assurance.
